Define Strata Attributes
To access this screen:
-
Display the Define Strata screen and select the Attributes tab.
The Define Strata managed task is part of the managed reserves workflow and is used to specify the surfaces that will be used to construct an enclosed strata volume that defines structural boundaries within your reserves solids. Strata volumes can be used to describe discontinuities in the volumes you wish to segment into mining blocks, and their subsequent evaluation and scheduling.
The Attributes screen is used to define the attributes and corresponding values that you wish to add to your generated strata volumes. These attributes will be carried throughout Studio OP's managed reserves workflow into block evaluation and scheduling.
For example, you could specify a particular destination code for a strata volume, or simply nominate the bisecting structure(s) as waste material. Similarly, you choose to identify individual strata with a corporation-standard naming convention, and so on.
As with all managed tasks, updates made on this panel are committed to your project using the Save (1) or Save and Close (2) buttons at the top of the form. You can also Close without saving (3).
Note: If you have specified
an alphanumeric attribute value, and the attribute is subsequently
changed to [Numeric], that value will be reset to the default
absent value (-).

This table contains a row item for each strata volume that has been defined. All custom attributes are shown as corresponding table columns. Initially, all values are absent (-), but you can click into any of the attribute table cells and enter the required values for each strata.
